Microsoft-MSFT

The volume of personal-computer sales in China is likely to rise 13% this year, boosted by Beijing's stimulus program, Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT) chief executive for the Greater China region, Simon Leung, said Friday.
Leung, who is also Microsoft's Greater China chairman, was speaking at a news conference in Beijing for the launch of the new Windows 7 operating system, which was released with worldwide fanfare on Thursday.
PC makers are increasingly looking to China, where the economy has rebounded sharply from the financial crisis, to boost sales especially as the U.S. economy remains fragile.
